From 24th to 26th September, the Higher Education Students’ Loans and Grants Board (HESLGB) will be hosting an international conference for the Association of African Higher Education Financing Agencies (AAHEFA). The theme of the conference is “Innovatively Financing Higher Education for the jobs of tomorrow”.
The conference is aimed at bringing ideas and solutions for improving the higher education financing sector in Africa. The conference will bring together policy makers, professionals, educational administrators and fund Managers from within and outside Africa.
In response to calls for support from HESLGB, FDH Bank donated MK 5 million towards the conference. Speaking during the cheque presentation ceremony, FDH Bank marketing manager, Levi Nkunika, said that FDH recognizes and appreciates the role that HESLGB plays in the education sector that is why FDH felt compelled to make the donation. HESLGB Executive Director, Chris Chisoni, said that HESLGB is very grateful for the donation and that HESLGB appreciates its partnership with the Bank. Click to read more.
